The University of Luxembourg is seeking to appoint a new Head of the University of Luxembourg Competence Centre (ULCC) to lead its integration and development, combining existing but dispersed Uni.lu activities and embedding a modern academic approach to continuing education.
The Head of ULCC will be a university professor and will lead innovative research in lifelong learning, with a focus on adult education, digital literacy, and the integration of technology in education. They will teach in the field of Educational Sciences or Psychology within the Faculty (FHSE) and/or contribute to the courses organized by ULCC. As Head of ULCC, they will ensure integration and communication with the academic community as well as other stakeholders including external partners.
The Head of ULCC will be responsible for providing comprehensive academic leadership, strategic management and operational oversight. The role combines strategic and innovative thinking, leadership, managerial, and pedagogical skills, offering a unique opportunity to shape the University’s strategy in academic continuing education and enhance its diverse course offerings.
