In preparation for EU Future Talks 2025 — a Europe-wide forum that brings together young people to debate the continent’s future — the student delegation composed of the nine students selected to represent the University of Luxembourg met on 17 November 2025 with the Vice-Rector for Academic and Student Affairs, Prof. Philippe Hiligsmann, to present their planned contributions and further refine their working groups.
This project was submitted and organised by Europe Direct University of Luxembourg (ED-UNILU) in collaboration with Austrian partners under the Erasmus+ Youth Participation Activities (KA154-YOU). Taking place in Salzburg from 19 to 21 November 2025, the event will convene students and experts to address topics such as sustainability, fundamental rights, geopolitical challenges, ethics and digital transformation. The conclusions of these debates will be compiled into reports destined for EU institutions and decision-makers from the EU Member States.
