On Friday, 15 September, the University of Luxembourg hosts the Welcome Day for its new students from 9.00 to 15.00 on Belval Campus.
Starting life on campus is a milestone in any student’s life and can be as exciting as it may be intimidating. The Welcome Day gives new students the opportunity to discover the campus and is designed to help them settle into their new environment.

Welcome and introduction to student life
The event is all “in presence”, however reserved for new students and based on prior registration.
Students will be welcomed by Claude Meisch, minister for Higher Education and Research, University rector Prof. Jens Kreisel and vice-rector for academic affairs Prof. Catherine Léglu. Students will also be introduced to the services of the Student Department (SEVE), to the activities of the student delegation.
Information stands on student services
Various student services will be present at the Welcome Day on Belval Campus, including the Admission & Accommodation Offices, Student Services, IT Student Care and Campus Radio (by Radio ARA). Please check the detailed schedule on welcomeday.uni.lu.
Free lunch and drinks for new students
The University offers free lunch to new students during the Welcome Day from 12.00 to 14.30 on Belval Campus.
Students may discover the campus by themselves and visit the different student areas at their own pace at any time. Guided tours of the campus and the library (Luxembourg Learning Centre LLC) will be available the week after. Interested persons can register for these on Friday at the Maison des Arts et des Étudiants (MAE).
