On the final day of EU Future Talks IV 2025 — a Europe-wide forum that brought together young people to debate on the future of EU — the delegation composed of nine students selected to represent the University of Luxembourg met with the Honorary Consul of Luxembourg in Salzburg, Mrs Suzanne Harf.
Mrs Harf discussed the outcomes of the EU Future Talks debates with the student delegation and exchanged views on the future of the EU. The informal meeting concluded with lunch at the Salzburg State Parliament building.
This transnational project was submitted and organised by Europe Direct University of Luxembourg (ED-UNILU) in collaboration with Austrian partners under the Erasmus+ Youth Participation Activities (KA154-YOU). Taking place in Salzburg from 19 to 21 November 2025, the event gathered students and experts to address topics such as sustainability, fundamental rights, geopolitical challenges, ethics and digital transformation. The conclusions of these debates will be compiled into reports destined for EU institutions and decision-makers from the EU Member States.
