Providing shape & content to the Conference on the Future of Europe!

Over the past few years, youth has greatly influenced the political debate across Europe. The Fridays for Future and the 14% increase in the participation of citizens under the age of 25 in the European elections demonstrate that young people want to contribute to shaping our common future.
The European Commission has proposed a “Conference on the Future of Europe” to be launched on 9 May. The European institutions and the member states represented in the Council of Ministers must agree on the form and scope of this process. The outcome of the prior consultations will therefore significantly influence the choices and proposals of the European Commission. It is in this context that the Vice-President of the European Commission responsible for the aforementioned Conference, Dubravka Šuica, will be in Luxembourg on 11 March.
In order to promote dialogue with a young audience, the Representation of the European Commission in Luxembourg invites all young people to an exchange with the Vice-President. This is the opportunity to communicate your ideas to the Vice-President.
The working language will be English.
A glass of friendship will be offered after the Citizen’s Dialogue.
