The Science Section of the “Institut Grand-Ducal de Luxembourg” is organising a new series of interdisciplinary science lectures called “Interdisciplinary Science in Luxembourg” to bring the dynamic research and science scene in Luxembourg closer together and expose it to a wider audience.
The Science Section of the Institut Grand-Ducal de Luxembourg is a centre for exchange and interdisciplinary cooperation between Luxembourg and foreign researchers. It promotes scientific culture and encourages scientific initiatives to meet the needs and challenges of society in the fields of natural, physical and mathematical sciences, both pure and applied.
Prof. Dr Alexandre Tkatchenko is Full professor in Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics at the Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine of the University of Luxembourg.
