The Career Centre of the University of Luxembourg is organising the 1st edition of the PhD Career Day on Tuesday 24 January 2023 from 9.30 to 17.30 in Maison des Arts et des Étudiants on Belval Campus.
The event is aimed at Doctoral candidates, PostDocs and Research scientists in Luxembourg and beyond. Participants will have the opportunity to meet recruiters and to exchange about the variety of job positions.
On Tuesday 24 January 2023, from 10 to 17.30, you will be able to meet Luxembourg’s major employers who are interested in the profiles of researchers, PhDs and beyond.
Companies such as Adem, Arcelor Mittal, BGL BNP Paribas, Ceratizit, DataThings, Deloitte, DSail, Euraxess, Flawless Photonics, FNR, Goodyear, GovJobs, ITTM, Laboratiores Réunis, LIH, LISER, LIST, LNS, LuxDoc, LuxAI, OffWorld, Paul Wurth, PWC and RSS Hydro will be present.
The event will take place at the Maison des Arts et des Étudiants. Meeting areas will be set up to facilitate exchanges between candidates and recruiters.
Corporate presentations will be held to open a dialogue between professionals and candidates on their specific needs and interests. A workshop on how to create your spin-off will also be offered.
Finally, mentoring between junior and senior researchers will be launched in a form of a peer-to-peer exchange platform.
