Join the AI Café 2025 Brainstorm Meeting
“Skills of tomorrow: How can AI support us in navigating the changing world of work”
Are you passionate about the future of Artificial Intelligence? Do you want to shape ideas, connect with experts, and contribute to meaningful discussions? Then don’t miss the AI Café 2025 Brainstorm Meetings — a series of dynamic, virtual gatherings designed to discuss selected flagship projects, which are mentioned in the Government’s AI strategy paper! The last one will take place on 10 December and will feature a talk with Prof. Dr Glauner, in relation with the Flagship Project “AI-Powered Skills Insights for the Labour Market” (page 49 of the Government’s AI strategy).
What to expect at this Brainstorm Meeting?
Each Brainstorm Meeting is a 90-minute online session featuring invited experts, open discussions, and the opportunity to co-create ideas that could influence the future of AI in society.
The topic
AI is rapidly changing the labour market and with it, the skills we need. In this sense, one of the main objectives of the national AI strategy is to use AI to better understand, which skills are in demand, how they are evolving and how we can support workers, students and job seekers in adapting. Governments and companies are using AI to map which skills are in demand and to better match people with job opportunities or training. This could mean more targeted support for career changes, for young people entering the workforce, or for professionals learning new tools.
In this session, we will explore how AI can be used to identify future skills, improve training opportunities and support career decisions:
• How do we make sure this benefits everyone—and not just a few?
• What are biggest concerns or hopes about how AI will change the labour market?
• Did you experience a shift in job skills in your own work or sector?
• How could AI help you (or others) find better job opportunities or training?
• What should the government or education system do to support lifelong learning using AI?
• What risks do you see in using AI to steer training and employment policies?
We look forward to hearing your experiences, ideas, and wishes for how AI should be used to support the people of Luxembourg in the working world of the future. Share your thoughts, needs and vision for a more inclusive and future-oriented labour market with us!
