UNIVERSEH Art & Science Residency – SciArts Lab Week
When Sciences Meet Arts | 25–31 August 2025 | Namur & Euro Space Center (Redu), Belgium
Are you a PhD student at the University of Luxembourg curious about the intersection of science and creativity? This interdisciplinary residency invites doctoral candidates from across the UNIVERSEH Alliance to step beyond their field and co-create original work — be it an installation, narrative, performance, or prototype — alongside artists and researchers.
What is it?
The SciArts Lab Week is a hands-on, collaborative residency designed to push the boundaries of research through creative experimentation. Participants will co-create original works around a central theme:
“Solarpunk meets Space Exploration – Restoring Earth, Dreaming the Stars.”
Why join?
- Work in interdisciplinary teams with fellow scientists and artists
- Experiment with new creative and narrative methods
- Learn from international guest artists and researchers
- Present your work in a final public exhibition
- Experience a unique mobility opportunity funded by UNIVERSEH.
Who can apply?
PhD students from any discipline—natural sciences, engineering, social sciences, or humanities—are welcome.
No artistic background is required. Just bring curiosity and a willingness to collaborate.

- Accreditation: 2 ECTS, subject to approval of your doctoral school or programme director
- Cost: Participation of Uni.lu participants is fully funded by UNIVERSEH European University
- Accommodation: 1 night in Namur + 5 nights at the Euro Space Center
