Brilliant minds: of women who shape science at Uni.lu

On the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, the University honours the curiosity, talent, and creativity that women bring to sciences and higher education. 

Discover stories of brilliant researchers at the University – a miniature sneak preview of the talent pool of female scientists who carry out research, train students and commit to sharing knowledge.  

Women still represent only around 35% of STEM graduates and professionals worldwide. To improve gender equality and career development in science and higher education, the University has launched in recent a number of career development initiatives, dedicated funding schemes and awareness campaigns for girls and young women.
