Join the AI Café 2025 Brainstorm Meeting about
“Past meets future: How can AI help us preserve and celebrate Luxembourg’s cultural identity”
Are you passionate about the future of Artificial Intelligence? Do you want to shape ideas, connect with experts, and contribute to meaningful discussions? Then don’t miss the AI Café 2025 Brainstorm Meetings — a series of dynamic, virtual gatherings designed designed to discuss selected flagship projects, which are mentioned in the Government’s AI strategy paper! The third one will take place on 12 November, on the topic of how can AI help us preserve and celebrate Luxembourg’s cultural identity. The related Flagship Project is “Cultural heritage – a strategic framework for integrating AI into Luxembourg’s cultural sector” (page 56 of the Government’s AI strategy).
What to expect at the Brainstorm Meetings?
Each Brainstorm Meeting is a 90-minute online session featuring invited experts, open discussions, and the opportunity to co-create ideas that could influence the future of AI in society.
The topic
Luxembourg’s cultural heritage is rich, multilingual and constantly evolving. From historical archives and traditional crafts to local stories, music and art, our culture tells the story of who we are. AI offers new tools to preserve, explore and even create culture.
- But how should these tools be used?
- What should we protect?
- What are the risks?
- Which part of Luxembourg’s cultural heritage would you like to see preserved or highlighted using AI?
- What role should AI play in supporting multilingualism and regional identity?
- How can AI be used by artists and creatives without replacing them?
- What are the risks of using AI to interpret or represent cultural narratives?
- How can AI in culture remain inclusive and community-driven?
In this session, citizens are invited to share their ideas and hopes on how AI can be used responsibly and creatively to promote cultural memory, innovation and diversity in Luxembourg. We will explore how AI could support Luxembourg’s cultural life – its archives, languages, arts and much more. Imagine a system that translates centuries-old manuscripts. Or AI that brings forgotten stories back to life. Or tools that help artists and musicians break new ground.
