Following in previous years’ footsteps, the University of Luxembourg once again opened its physics and engineering laboratories to the public this year.

On 18 September 2022, for the 16th edition of the Portes Ouvertes Luxembourg, the Kirchberg and Limpertsberg campuses of the University welcomed more than 300 visitors, who got a rare behind-the-scenes sneak peek at the labs.

This year’s many attractions included getting to meet Pepper, the robot, learning about renewable energies and better water management, seeing microscopic marine algae at work and experiencing zero gravity and “lunar walks”.
