On 9 October 2023, Mr Jean-Claude Juncker, President of the Academy of European Law, Honorary Minister of State and former President of the European Commission, received Dr Elena Danescu, Research Scientist at the Luxembourg Centre for Contemporary and Digital History (C²DH) and Coordinator of Europe Direct at the University of Luxembourg, accompanied by Prof. Marius Constantin Profiroiu, Vice-Rector for International Relations at the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies (ASE).
Prof. Profiroiu then visited the Europe Direct Centre hosted at the Luxembourg Learning Centre (Belval campus) and met Prof. Marie-Hélène Jobin, Vice-Rector for Partnerships and International Relations at the University of Luxembourg, to discuss aspects of bilateral academic cooperation and European and international synergies in the fields of teaching and research of common interest (finance, fintech, cyber security, law, economics and logistics sciences).
