About
The EBSI-VECTOR project aims to enhance digital interactions for citizens in education and social security across Europe by leveraging self-sovereign identity principles. Involving 52 partners from 20 countries, the initiative seeks to simplify complex verification processes through decentralised methods. It builds on existing EBSI capabilities, introducing features like decentralised identities for legal entities and revocation functionalities. The project focuses on scaling EBSI’s capabilities and fostering collaboration among educational and social security stakeholders. By creating national coordination efforts, it aims to implement verifiable credentials and privacy-friendly verification tools effectively. Additionally, the project encourages the development of an EBSI-compliant wallet ecosystem, offering diverse solutions for users. EBSI-VECTOR also collaborates with related European initiatives, ensuring alignment with frameworks like EUeID and SDG to provide integrated digital interaction solutions for citizens and organisations.
