Pol Hölzmer, from Luxembourg, has a technical and engineering background in Computer Science. He received his Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Information and Communication Technologies in 2020 and his Master’s degree (MSc) in IT-Security in 2022 from the University of Applied Science (FH) Campus Wien. His research interests lie in the area of IT-Security, ranging from cryptography over software and hardware security to digital privacy. As a Researcher at the FH Campus Wien, he has focused on the security of the Internet of Things and the adoption of Post-Quantum Cryptography in constrained devices. In his personal time, he is engaged in digital privacy and ethical hacking. His current research focuses on the studies of digital identities and verifiable credentials in collaboration with Luxembourg’s Ministry for Digitalisation.
