Martin’s research interests include decentralisation technologies such as distributed ledgers, digital identities, and multiparty computations, where he focuses on their application and implications in the public and private sectors. Along those lines, he investigates the impact of decentralisation technologies on digital financial services at the intersection of management and computer science.
His research has been published in Information Systems Frontiers, as well as the Proceedings of the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS), the Hawaii International Conference on Systems Sciences (HICSS), and the International Conference on Wirtschaftsinformatik (WI). It was further accepted for presentation at the doctoral consortia of the International Conference on Wirtschaftsinformatik (WI) and the European Conference on Information Systems (ECIS).
