About

The FinSAT project explores the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and satellite data to develop automated investment strategies that provide real-time financial insights. With the growing volume of data from satellite sources, traditional methods of processing and analysing this data have become inefficient. This project aims to leverage AI’s ability to process large datasets, including satellite imagery, maritime, and aeronautical data, to offer insights into economic activities and market movements. By integrating these datasets with socioeconomic indicators, the project seeks to create predictive models that enhance investment decision-making. Key objectives include developing deep learning algorithms to analyse satellite-derived datasets, constructing models that predict market behaviour, and designing AI-driven financial solutions that optimise investment portfolios. The expected outcomes of the project include the creation of AI-based tools that can automate the investment process, reduce reliance on human advisors, and offer cost-effective, personalised financial advice.
