On 20 March, Dr. Margherita Pugnaletto, on behalf of ULIDE, part of the Industry 5.0 Community of Practice (CoP 5.0), took part in the second Plenary Session of the Industry 5.0 CoP, which brought together key European stakeholders from industry, academia and policy to exchange perspectives on current industrial and societal challenges, and promote a transition towards more human-centred, sustainable and resilient models of development.

The plenary discussions highlighted the role of Industry 5.0 in shaping a more inclusive and socially responsible form of competitiveness in Europe, where innovation goes hand in hand with environmental sustainability, workers’ well-being and societal value. Particular attention was given to lessons learned so far and to the need for future actions.

ULIDE participated in the breakout session “Monitoring, taxonomy, and self-assessment on Industry 5.0”, which focused on the development of methodologies and tools to assess companies’ maturity in adopting Industry 5.0 principles, aimed to identify improvement areas, and better align innovation efforts with business value and policy objectives.
