Why FutureFinTech is different, Different by design

With its clear interdisciplinary approach, FutureFinTech is a unique place of academic collaboration across disciplines. While academic fields are often narrow, real-world challenges need to be addressed simultaneously from multiple angles. FutureFinTech is thus not only able to achieve internationally recognised world-class research in the respective disciplines, but also to identify the research gaps that are most relevant to industry and society as a whole.

This unique positioning enables FutureFinTech to contribute independent, research-driven insights that support the responsible digital transformation of financial services in Luxembourg and beyond.

Ecosystem members

When it comes to our FinTech activities, both SnT and FDEF are heavily embedded within Luxembourg’s ecosystem of financial services. We have a long history of collaboration with over 65 public and private partners when it comes to software engineering, and we also work closely with Luxembourg’s House of Financial Technology (LHoFT), the Luxembourg Bankers’ Association (ABBL), the Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (ALFI), as well as the Ministry of Finance.
