Our speaker, Prof. Dr Anelis Kaiser Trujilo, combines functional magnetic resonance imaging with intersectional gender theory, emphasing that sex and gender cannot be studied in isolation but be understood in relation to factors such as race, social class, sexuality and disability.

Prof. Dr Anelis Kaiser Trujilo

Professor of Gender Studies in STEM at the University of Freiburg (Germany) from 2017 to 2023, Prof. Kaiser Trujilo is now an affiliated professor at the Center for Gender Studies at the University of Basel (Switzerland) and a lecturer in the Department of Social Psychology and Social Neuroscience at the University of Bern (Switzerland).
