Tailored training
The Doctoral programme in Education offers several inter/disciplinary courses as well as transferable skills training to support you in your doctoral project.
Disciplinary/interdisciplinary training: Research in Education at the University of Luxembourg focuses primarily on digital learning, educational assessment, educational inequality and multilingualism. These domains are clearly reflected in the training programme. In addition, the training programme includes reading groups and (inter)disciplinary colloquia as well as advanced methodology courses. disciplinary/interdisciplinary courses enable you to study topics across disciplines, such as psychology and linguistics that may be relevant to your projects. These may include domain specific courses as well as general training in scientific writing, systematic reviews and meta-analysis and science communication.
Transferable skills training: These courses cover transferable skills with a clear focus on research integrity and ethics, academic writing, project management and teaching skills.
Prerequisites
Language: Candidates applying to any programme at the Doctoral School of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Luxembourg will be required to demonstrate the following Language skills:
• English language skills: as a minimum B2 level of the CEFR.
• Language used for thesis: as a minimum C1 level of the CEFR.
Prerequisite: A Master’s degree in Educational Sciences, Psychology, Humanities (and sub-disciplines), Social Sciences or equivalent (level 7).

You may consider sending a description of the research project and your CV. Your research project should be as comprehensive as possible.
