Core facilities High-performance computing (HPC)

Network

The University of Luxembourg’s HPC Centre is a vital player in the European high-performance computing ecosystem, participating in pioneering projects that drive the development of next-generation computing technologies. Our involvement in initiatives such as EuroCC2, EUMaster4HPC, and SLICES reflects our commitment to advancing HPC education, research, and infrastructure. EuroCC2 promotes HPC skills and workforce development across Europe, while EUMaster4HPC is shaping the future of HPC education by creating a Europe-wide master’s program in high-performance computing. Additionally, our collaboration with SLICES supports building a European platform for scientific research and experimentation in digital infrastructure, ensuring that Luxembourg remains at the forefront of HPC innovation and collaboration. The University of Luxembourg also partners with AWS to benchmark the computational capabilities and the energy efficiency of the cutting edge and promising Graviton processors.
