Meet Anjali Sharma
Anjali Sharma, Senior Editor at Nature Communications and PhD graduate from the University of Luxembourg, shares her journey in physics—from exploring everyday phenomena to shaping scientific publishing. Meet Samira Chaychi

Samira Chaychi, a computer scientist and University of Luxembourg alumna, co-founded LuxQuantum, a start-up tackling secure interoperability between traditional and quantum cybersecurity tools. Motivated by the urgency of protecting sensitive data before quantum computers become mainstream, Samira is developing hybrid solutions that combine Post-Quantum Cryptography and Quantum Key Distribution. Her journey from PhD researcher to entrepreneur was supported by the University’s incubator, where she gained the skills and confidence to launch her venture in Luxembourg’s growing quantum ecosystem.
