Have you ever wondered how we can make scientific research more accessible and collaborative? Open science is the dynamic movement that is revolutionising the way research is conducted, shared, and utilised. It is all about tearing down barriers so that everyone—researchers, policymakers, and the public—can easily access and benefit from scientific discoveries.

It increases the visibility and therefore the scoring of work”

Open science allows everyone—researchers, policymakers, and the public—to access and build on scientific discoveries. Open-source tools and platforms thus play a crucial role in this shift, making research more collaborative and impactful across various fields.

In this seminar, we will explore how the future of research is being shaped. Prof. Fressengeas will illuminate the UNESCO framework for open science and discuss how its principles are driving the international Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment (CoARA) to align research objectives and evaluations. Attendees will gain valuable insights into the ongoing conversations surrounding open science principles in today’s academic landscape and beyond.

After the seminar, you are invited to unwind and connect at a networking mixer at Café Saga, where you can enjoy a selection of drinks and delicious food. This is a fantastic opportunity to engage with your colleagues, exchange ideas, and foster collaborations.

This event is open to everyone, and we encourage you to register to attend either in person or online.
