The University of Luxembourg will present the newest volume of “LUX:plorations – A Universe of Research” at the International Comics Festival in Contern on 20 and 21 July 2024 from 10.00 to 19.00. The science comic showcases science and research made in Luxembourg. The single stories are developed in collaboration between young scientists and comic artists.

This year the LUX:plorations stand will also have a small robotic guest. Come and dance with it!
The comic series LUX:plorations is a DESCOM project and supported by the Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR), the Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine (FSTM), the Doctoral School in Science and Engineering as well as the Doctoral School in Humanities and Social Sciences (DSHSS).
Admission to the BD Festival Contern costs 3€ per day for adults and is for free for children under 12 years od age. Parking is available and indicated. A free shuttle bus will bring you from the station Sandweiler-Contern to the festival in Contern. The shuttle bus will run according to the departure and arrival of the train at Sandweiler/Contern station.
