The Committee of the Symphonic Circle of Rumelange is pleased to announce the concert that their orchestra, in collaboration with the renowned Uni.lu choir, will perform on 28 June, 2024, at 8.00 PM at the Basilica of Echternach.

“The Violinist of Echternach” by Lou Koster is one of the masterpieces of Luxembourgish music. The oratorio, based on a ballad by Nik Welter, tells the origin story of the dancing procession of Echternach. This season, the orchestra “Cercle Symphonique de Rumelange,” under the direction of Sidney Scho, will perform the work with the Uni.lu choir. Soloists include Noémie Sunnen, Olivier Nilles, and Yann Windeshausen.

Whether you are an enthusiast or simply curious, do not miss this unforgettable musical evening of collaboration of the 100 musicians. Access from 7:00 PM, the concert lasts 60 minutes (without intermission).

The artist Mr. Jacques Schneider will also exhibit some of his artworks on this special occasion.
