Get the chance to meet Clio Van Aerde, resident artist at Casino Display and the University of Luxembourg (September-October)!

As part of the third year of their ongoing collaboration, Casino Display and the University of Luxembourg are delighted to welcome artist Clio Van Aerde to participate in their in-university artistic residency. Reflecting the shared commitment to interdisciplinary dialogue, this year’s residency will once again reinforce the strong ties between art and sciences.

During the first two months of her residency, split between Casino Display and the University of Luxembourg, Clio Van Aerde will be hosted at C²DH, while looking forward to meeting researchers, students and colleagues from the whole university.

Clio Van Aerde is a transdisciplinary performance artist and scenographer based in Esch-sur-Alzette (LU). Trained in scenography at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Vienna and performance practices at ArtEZ hoogeschool van de kunsten, Arnhem, her practice spans performance art, choreography, site-specific and durational art and visual arts. Her process-based work explores the relation between bodies, spaces, and temporalities, as well as the social constructs that shape them.

The in-University artist residency, launched in 2024, is a program developed by the University of Luxembourg-Espace Cultures in partnership with Casino Display / Forum d’art contemporain, supported by PwC Foundation, under the aegis of Fondation de Luxembourg.
