“LUX:plorations – A Universe of Research” will be present again at the International Comics Festival in Contern on 18 and 19 July 2026 from 10.00 to 19.00. Come and grab a copy from the newest volume of this science comic series. You can also test your knowledge about space in a small quiz.
The comic series LUX:plorations is part of the DESCOM project of the University of Luxembourg. LUX:plorations is supported by the Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR), the André Losch Fondation, the Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine (FSTM), the Doctoral School in Science and Engineering (DSSE) as well as the Doctoral School in Humanities and Social Sciences (DSHSS).
Admission to the BD Festival Contern costs 5€ per day for adults and is for free for children under 12 years od age. Parking is available and indicated. A free shuttle bus will bring you from the station Sandweiler-Contern to the festival in Contern. The shuttle bus will run according to the departure and arrival of the train at Sandweiler/Contern station.
