To celebrate the annual conference of the Luxembourg Centre for European Law “Is EU Law fit for Purpose?” (9–10 October 2026), the LCEL Library invites you to take part in an art contest exploring the evolving role, challenges and future of EU law.
Is EU law equipped to meet today´s realities and tomorrow uncertainties?
How do you interpret its purpose, limits, and potential?
This is your opportunity to express your vision through art!
Why participate?
Selected artworks will be:
- exhibited in the LCEL Library
- featured in the LCEL Annual Report
- showcased on the University’s website and social media
Winners will also be awarded a surprise prize!
Who can participate?
Everyone, regardless of age or affiliation with the University of Luxembourg.
We warmly encourage schools, pupils, and teachers to take part, alongside students, researchers, professionals, and anyone interested.
How to participate?
Submit one original artwork inspired by the theme. Any medium is welcome: painting, photography, drawing, or collage.
Requirements:
- One submission per participant
- Include a title reflecting your interpretation
- Generative AI is not permitted
