Lorenzo Gradoni has written extensively in the fields of public international law and EU law, including in several subfields such as the theory of legal sources, history of legal doctrine, international trade law, international criminal law, and international environmental law. His research currently focuses on the contemporary history of international customary law, climate change law, and international and transnational adjudication, particularly in the field of social media content moderation and out-of-court dispute settlement under the EU’s Digital Services Act.
