Prof. Stéphane Rousseau (University of Montréal’s Faculty of Law)

Stéphane Rousseau is Full Professor at the University of Montréal’s Faculty of Law where he teaches corporate law, corporate governance and securities regulation. He is also affiliated professor with the department of finance of HEC Montréal. President of the Quebec Observatory on securities regulation, he is the author and coauthor of numerous publications including Droit des valeurs mobilières (Éd. Thémis 2023), Business Law and Economics (Elgar, 2021) Analyse économique du droit, (3rd ed., Dalloz/Éd. Thémis, 2021) and Droit des sociétés par actions (4th ed., Éd. Thémis 2018). Professor Rousseau teaches financial markets regulation as visiting professor at l’École de droit de la Sorbonne and Université du Luxembourg.
