The Extended Discrete Element Method (XDEM) Research Centre develops advanced simulation technology for multi-physics applications. In particular, XDEM is a versatile and user-friendly software that explains and predicts the thermo-dynamics and motion of granular materials. XDEM has been used successfully in a wide range of applications also in collaboration with industry.
