Catherine has published monographs on literary parody (2000), multilingualism in the narrative literature written in late-medieval Catalan, Occitan and French (2010), and the translation and adaptation of the biblical Samson in Anglo-Norman French texts and images (2018). Her published work focuses on issues of translation (Latin-to-vernacular; vernacular-to-vernacular), as well as word-and-image texts and adaptation. Genres range from late-medieval illustrated world histories and body-soul debates to the Danse Macabre (Journal of Literary Multilingualism, 2023).
