Flora Annie Ljuba JUNG

Flora Jung is a doctoral researcher, affiliated with the GREITMA project, in the Department of Law within the Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance of the University of Luxembourg.

She is researching the interconnection between anti-money laundering and environmental crimes in the private sector. Her PhD thesis is supervised by Professor Stanisław Tosza.

She previously worked at the University of Luxembourg as a Research and Development Specialist in criminal law and compliance. Before joining the University, she gained experience at the Court of Justice of the European Union through an internship in the cabinet of Judge Marko Ilešič, and at a national law firm in Luxembourg, where she was introduced to the practical dimensions of legal work. During her studies, she also served as a research assistant at PluriCourts – The Centre for the Study of the Legitimate Roles of the Judiciary in the Global Order, a Norwegian Centre of Excellence at the University of Oslo, where she focused on the legitimacy of the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea.

Flora holds an LL.M. in Public International Law, with a specialisation in Peace, Security and International Law, from the University of Oslo and a Bachelor in Law from the University of Luxembourg.
