Prof. Kräussl joins in Luxembourg delegation visit to San Francisco

FDEF Professor of Finance and visiting fellow at the The Hoover Institution, Stanford University, Roman Kräussl, was honoured to have participated in the working visit of H.R.H. the Crown Prince Guillaume of Luxembourg and Luxembourg Minister of the Economy Franz Fayot to San Francisco last week. The event was organised by the Luxembourg Trade & Investment Office of San Francisco.

Over lunch, Prof. Kräussl discussed various topics covering his expertise and research interests such as Alternative Investments, Sustainable Finance, StartUps, Innovation & Venture Capital, and Implications of Technology on Finance such as AI, ChatGPT, Machine Learning, Fractional Ownership with the delegation. Special focus was given to the future of the workforce and university educational needs, what research in Luxembourg can contribute and why building partnerships with other Universities, such as Stanford are vital.

Prof. Kräussl presented the H.R.H the Crown Prince with the book “Letters home from Stanford” as an expression of his appreciation.
