Migrant Rights at the European Borders, Lecture 8: The European Integrated Border Management and the EU’s Human Rights Responsibility Gap

The Department of Law of the FDEF, with the support of the FNR, is organising this hybrid lunchtime lecture.

Abstract:

Dr Joyce De Coninck will discuss with Dr Giulia Raimondo about EU-integrated border management, its human rights impact, and the potential avenues to hold responsible national and supranational actors for any violation of migrant rights.

About Dr Joyce De Coninck:

Dr Joyce De Coninck, FWO post-doctoral researcher at the Ghent European Law Institute at Ghent University, Belgium, and Adjunct Professor of EU Law and Scholar in Residence at the Center for Human Rights and Global Justice at NYU School of Law.
