Eva joined the University of Luxembourg in January 2023 as a doctoral candidate under supervision of Prof. Matthew Happold. Her dissertation aims to explore how international courts and tribunals (and their decisions) have been impacted by their budget and financial governance. Her research interests lie with empirical legal research, feminist approaches to international law, international institutional law, and international courts and tribunals.
Before she joined the University of Luxembourg, Eva was an Education and Research Associate at the Grotius Centre for International Legal Studies at Leiden University. She also was previously on the International Board of the European Law Students’ Association (ELSA), working with the Council of Europe and the European Court of Human Rights.
She completed her Bachelor ‘European Law School’ (bene meritum) at Radboud University Nijmegen and her Master ‘Public International Law’ (cum laude) at Leiden University.
