On behalf of the Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance, we are profoundly saddened and troubled by the events in Ukraine. We extend our sincere support to all those whose lives are impacted, including our Ukrainian colleagues and students here in Luxembourg.
In these difficult times, we give special attention to our peers at our partner University, the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University in Kharkiv, Ukraine. Our thoughts are with the staff and students who suddenly find themselves amidst the uncertainty, fear and armed conflict.
Lasting peace as envisaged by the architects of the European Union, is the only way forward. Stability, trust and unity are the ingredients of progress in all realms, including academia.
We hope that these dark days will soon come to pass so that healing may begin.
