    16 July 2020

Dr. Hélène Langlois, Team Leader for the Control Office at the Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance of the University of Luxembourg, was elected to the Board of Directors of the association Mouvement Luxembourgeois pour la Qualité et l’Excellence (in English, the Luxembourg Movement for Quality and Excellence) on 2 July 2020.

The association, founded in 2001 by the CRP Henri Tudor (now LIST) and the Ministry of the Economy counts five principal missions:

  • Promote and encourage all approaches and initiatives aimed at Quality and Excellence in all its forms and in all sectors of activity
  • Guide and accompany organisations in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg towards sustainable and efficient management
  • Federate and animate a network for the exchange of good practices between organisations from different backgrounds
  • Position itself as the privileged contact for quality and excellence
  • Recognise excellence and innovation in the know-how of Luxembourg organisations

As a Board member, Dr. Langlois will contribute to developing and maintaining recognised standards of quality and excellence across all industry sectors in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg through the actions of the association such as executive training, event and workshops, cross-internal audits and organisation of the Luxembourg prize for Quality and Excellence.

“This election is not only the consecration of ten years of close collaboration between the MLQE and the FDEF, but also a concrete illustration of the active commitment of the Faculty to quality. Moreover, this is a driving force for strengthening our relationship with Luxembourg public and private stakeholders that are also involved in this matter,” explains Dr. Hélène Langlois.
