New FDEF Faculty Council is complete

  • Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance (FDEF)
    20 March 2020

Following the end of all Faculty Council mandates with the implementation of departmentalisation on 1 January 2020, the Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance proceeded with the election of new members of the Faculty Council.

This new group of delegates is mandated to serve on the Council until 31 December 2023.

The Faculty Council is an advisory body which proposes, analyses and evaluates various Faculty activities. Comprising our Dean, Vice-Dean, the Heads of the three Departments and representatives from all groups within the Faculty (professors, research assistants, administrative staff, technical staff and students), the Faculty Council also counts a Gender Equality Delegate who has been appointed by the Dean.

Notably, the Faculty Council is consulted on the following items:

  • Strategic development of the Faculty
  • The Faculty’s 4-year plan
  • Faculty research programs
  • Proposals to maintain or discontinue study programmes and tracks
  • Budget proposals
  • Recruitment within the framework of the 4-year plan

We thank all elected delegates for their contribution to the future of our Faculty.
