The doctoral researcher, Lorenzo Palladini from the department of Economics and Management has been honored with the esteemed DRUID24 award during this year’s conference. Since its foundation in 1996, DRUID has established itself as one of the world’s leading academic conferences focused on innovation and the dynamics of structural, institutional, and geographic change. This year’s DRUID24 conference was hosted earlier in June in Nice, France by the SKEMA Business School and the University Côte d’Azur.

DRUID24 is known for its distinguished plenary speakers, a variety of parallel paper sessions, and an engaging social program. The conference aims to map theoretical, empirical, and methodological advancements, showcasing novel insights and helping to identify scholarly positions, divisions, and common grounds in current scientific controversies within the field.

This year’s keynote speakers included eminent scholars from various research fields such as innovation studies, management, and economic geography.

Lorenzo Palladini’s recognition with the DRUID Steven Klepper Best Paper Award for Young Scholars highlights his creativity and promise in academic research. This annual award is given to the most innovative and promising paper presented by junior scholars at the DRUID conference.
