Mert Bayraktar received his PhD degree in Electronic and Communication Engineering at Çankaya University (Turkey) in 2019. His research interests are free space optics and visible light communication, beam propagation and scintillation in turbulent medium using simulation and analytical methods. Mert joined the Signal Processing & Satellite Communications research group, SIGCOM, headed by Prof. Symeon Chatzinotas and he will be reporting to Dr. Juan Carlos Merlano Duncan.
