Dr. Luis Manuel GARCES SOCARRAS

Luis Manuel GARCES SOCARRAS joined as a Research & Development Specialist. He received his PhD degree from the Technological University of Havana (Cuba), in 2017. He has previous experience as a Professor and researcher in the particular areas of Electronics and Digital Systems. His research interests include the speed enhancement of time-critical applications by reconfigurable hardware, such as Real-time Video and Image Processing, Real-time Digital Signal Processing, Internet of Things, Machine Learning Applications, Fuzzy Logic, and Artificial Intelligence. Luis Manuel joined the Signal Processing & Satellite Communications research group, SIGCOM, headed by Prof. Symeon Chatzinotas.
