Postdoctoral researcher in the Digital Medicine group (Klucken Lab)

Dr Stefano Sapienza joined the Digital Medicine group led by Prof. Jochen Klucken as a postdoctoral researcher in September 2021, after working five years in Boston at the Motion Analysis lab directed by Dr Paolo Bonato. He holds a PhD in physics and a master’s degree in biomedical engineering from the Polytechnic University of Turin in Italy. His research interests include wearable sensor, machine learning applied to the healthcare sector and bio-signal analysis. Currently, he is involved in different projects aiming to deliver personalised intervention to patients and clinical support to doctors, utilising information collected with wearable devices both in the clinic and the home environment.
