Sasan obtained his B.Sc. degree in ICT Engineering in Networked Systems, Ghiasodin Jamshid Kashani Inst. of Higher Education, Abyek, Iran in 2012. Thesis: “A survey of Vehicular Ad hoc NETworks (VANET)”. He received his M.Sc. degree in Information and Computer Science at the University of Luxembourg in Sep 2015. Thesis: “Evaluating the Security of Connected Vehicles”. From Feb 2013 until Sep 2015 Sasan has worked as Master student in the NetLab at SnT, during which he was involved in several HCI and HPC related projects. His research areas are Embedded Systems Security and Automotive Networks, and also is interested on Machine Learning and Data Mining methods.
He will work on Security of Embedded and Distributed Vehicular Systems under the supervision of Prof. Thomas Engel.
