Cécile Duval holds a master’s degree in political science from the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne. She began her professional career at the European Parliament’s Directorate-General for Studies in Luxembourg, before joining the Virtual Centre for Knowledge about Europe (CVCE) as a scientific collaborator. Following the CVCE’s integration into the University of Luxembourg in July 2016, she now focuses on public history, contemporary European history, banking and financial history, outreach and educational activities. In particular, she is involved in monitoring copyright issues for the CVCE’s collections.
At the same time, she is a representative for gender equality within the C²DH and an ambassador for sustainable development.
