Current position
Almuth Axtner is a doctoral researcher at the C²DH.
Research
Her topic of research is the history of the University of Luxembourg. She is under the supervision of Prof. Andreas Fickers.
Work experience
From 2022 to 2024 she was a research assistant for the Chair of Contemporary European History at Saarland University. Additionally, she worked as the assistant to the worker’s council at the Fraunhofer Institute for Non-destructive Testing in Saarbrücken from 2019-2024.
Educational background
Almuth Axtner holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and a master’s degree in history, both of which she obtained at Saarland University Saarbrücken.
