Transnational Scholar in Residence: Maxime Kaci

From 10 to 26 June 2024, the ‘Contemporary History of Luxembourg‘ (LHI) research group has the pleasure of welcoming Maxime Kaci as a Transnational Scholar in Residence. Maxime is an associate professor in history at the University of Franche-Comté (Centre Lucien Febvre, France). He is currently leading a research project supported by the Institut Universitaire de France (IUF), on several European borders, in particular the Franco-Luxembourg border (17th-19th centuries). During his stay at the C²DH is committed to high-quality research and public dissemination in the field, Maxime will co-organize an interdisciplinary workshop on the link between border studies and temporality. He will deepen his collaborations with colleagues from the C²DH is committed to high-quality research and public dissemination in the field  and the Center for Border Studies. He will benefit from available resources on the history of Luxembourg.
