About the experience
“Ghosts of the Villa” offers you the chance to explore the legendary Villa Louvigny anew, as history and memories converge in sound. This unique audio experience is shaped by your own movement through the space. Let the building come alive through the voices of Radio Luxembourg’s past, from DJs to pop and rock performances, interspersed with listener stories from all over Europe.
You define your own personal interactive journey through Villa Louvigny, composed of different historical contexts, archival footage and spatialised audio.
The Villa Louvigny experience, part of a wider transmedia project, explores how a tiny country’s radio station changed the media and musical landscape and continues to resonate today.

Booking: Entry is free but prior registration is required: book your slot at radio.lu. Please arrive 15 minutes in advance. Late arrivals cannot be admitted. Requests for groups, school classes or private sessions can be sent by email to info@radio.lu.

Villa Louvigny is currently a construction site.
Unfortunately this means that the experience is not accessible to wheelchair users, since it includes stairs. We sincerely apologise for this inconvenience. We would invite people with reduced mobility to contact us individually for any questions regarding accessibility.
There are no toilets available to the public at Villa Louvigny. The nearest public toilets are located in the park, a short walk from the exhibition.
