Rust & Research is designed to be both accessible and engaging, offering a playful and immersive way to explore Luxembourg’s industrial heritage and its ongoing transformation.

About the game

Developed over nearly two years, Rust & Research is the result of a collaborative effort combining historical research, creative design, and game development. The project was created by Joé Voncken, Nicolas Arendt, Masha Meleshko-Sudina, and Zoé Konsbruck – doctoral researchers at the Luxembourg Centre for Contemporary and Digital History (C²DH).

Supported by the Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR) and the C²DH Thinkering Grant.

Places for the launch are limited, please register (for free) to reserve your spot.
